MGM China has announced Ayesha Khanna Molino, Senior Vice President for Government Affairs of parent company MGM Resorts International, as a new non-executive director following the retirement of former CEO Grant Bowie.

Bowie, who stepped down as CEO in late May, officially resigned from the MGM China board on Thursday but will remain an advisor to the company until 31 December 2022.

His departure has seen Molino appointed as non-executive director of the Company, effective immediately.

The 40-year-old joined MGM Resorts in 2017, before which time she served as Chief Counsel and formerly as Policy Adviser to the retired Federal Senator for the State of Nevada, Harry Reid.

She has also served as international trade counsel on the US Senate Finance Committee under Senator Max Baucus, and as an attorney in the Office of General Counsel at the US Department of Commerce.

Molino has been appointed to the MGM China board for a period of three years and is not entitled to receive any remuneration or director’s fee, the company said.
